Psychologist in a primary care clinic for patients experiencing chronic illness, chronic pain,and mental health distress. As part of an integrated health care team, provide individual,couples, family, and group therapy services using a structured, focused, brief therapyapproach within a managed care environment. Provide services to patients ages birth to 90+. Utilize an electronic documentation system (Epic/Excellian). Assist patients with identification of self-care management strategies while increasing their awareness of contributing factors in symptom flares. Provide psychotherapy utilizing a variety of treatment modalities including clinical hypnosis, EMDR, biofeedback, guided imagery, cognitive behavioral therapy, ACT. Focus on mind/body approaches related to psychophysiological processes targeting modification and improvement of patient symptoms. Conduct Diagnostic Assessments for ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). Provide 2 group therapy sessions weekly targeting patients with chronic depression/anxiety, and 2 group therapy sessions weekly targeting patients with chronic food/weight/health/emotional eating issues.
